Love it, it would take some getting used to having the icons at the bottom instead of the top, But I like the looks of this....

Looks epic dude.
Who said the Ally was dead?
This makes...4 new ROMs since its EOL. Glad to see the Ally dev scene isn't dead. it's just in the next generation.
If you need anything, let me know.

Is this going to have working phone capabilities? All you mentioned is poor call quality, but not that the issues with gretel were fixed (calls not being received, outgoing calls not hanging up, etc.). What about SMS? If not currently achieved, are these within the goals of the project?

I've been dying for a Cyanogen Mod on my ally, but unfortunately I do also need my phone to also be, well, a phone.
I look forward to seeing how this project turns out.

2.3.4 meant new possibilities i right away took out the old and in with the new. SE launcher is super smooth and elegant. As for the second choice of UI i decided to use, i didn't think it would work.
While working with Android devices from the UK, I found a device called the Infobar AO1 Iida, It has a unique UI called the Inforbar system sort of like the windows 7 UI. Altho partially in jiberish, (Il be fixing that...) the port went awesome and my great idea turned out, requires a 2.3 system. The only other system that had this port IK of was the HTC evo 3d and I watched that project and swiped the system dump of the device someone presented and I was like oooo new toys.
I present my first view of bionic here showing off the UI --- TOP OF PAGE ---

Very interesting project. Nice to see something different. Too bad i don't have/use an ally anymore.

Feel free to come to the ally irc channel for shits and giggles :)

What are you overclocked at on the preview on youtube?

That is default 600Mhz,kinda makes you wonder what an overclock does o.0
Overclock settings will be available in the cyanogen settings, ive had no use of it really as the system is smooth. Im debating to either stick with one UI or use both of them for users to have options.
Il try for another preview tomorrow of the actual firmware, as i got some free time to spare.

Time will tell, I havnt kept it on my ally for more than an hour but while I did, performance bypast velocity and frunisher. Id like to release a beta once Calling and SMS is working but I'll have to think about it. Id like to have a battery report and performance check by the community so I'll think on a beta soon for those who have retired their allys and those who can properly use their nand backup.

I have an ally sitting on my desk. Retired. Willing to test. Wife's Ally is her phone, so once calling and mms works I can test that too. Thanks for your hard work.

I hope you didn't remove the 180 degree screen rotation lol. Anyways, your rom looks great so far. I'm looking forward to trying it out for myself :)

Oh no
I have a lot of problems lately so I'm making my first goal a stable aos 2.3 system for ally then add cyanogen as I think cmod is affecting the radio and service.

One more thing... if you change a theme, u may to reboot.

After your done testing, Use your nand in recovery to go back to your original firmware (for those who are rookies)
The beta will be online for a limited time, after I have gathered my data, I will remove the beta and continue further.

I ran it for a while and here's what I noticed:
-3g worked perfectly. I did not follow your instructions, choosing instead to toggle airplane mode, rebooted, disabled airplane, and rebooted again
-does not go into airplane mode correctly. It hangs on "disabling connections" or whatever. Rebooting fixes it.
-home button causes a black screen for a couple seconds, then returns to the screen you were on when pressing the home button
