Currently have a Storm 2 that I love. But looking at the Bionic and 9850 specs , I find myself asking why should I stay with rim and the 9850 and not get the LTE Bionic. It looks like a great phone. Would some of you with more knowledge than I please help with this decision?
Lol...honestly, this is like a Should I take the Range Rover out in the snow, or am I better of with the Ferrari Question! Yes that's a little extreme. To the OP....Bionic my man, deff the Bionic!
Perhaps it's best if you tell us what you're looking for in a phone I have the 9930 currently and umm... it's one of the worst decisions that I've made in a phone purchase since getting a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. This is after a long time with Android and iPhone. I can't wait til the Bionic comes out so I can get rid of this phone. The BB OS is SO far behind Android and iOS.
I had a BB 9930 and i HATED it! BB OS7 is HORRIABLE and slow! The Bionic should be the best device on VZW spec wise.
I'll give you one more thing to ponder upon... Why is it that Android users and iPhone users never compare themselves to BB users? There's no desire to. lol
I think it really comes down to one thing: Do you have to have a physical qwerty keyboard and BBM? Seeing as you're currently using a Storm, it sounds like no. Virtually everything you need (great but not perfect Exchange support, apps out the wazoo, much better browser, GTalk for IM) can be had with the Bionic. Go ahead, jump in; the water is just fine!
I played with the 9930 in the store, after seeing it in Verizon's offerings page. I was first struck by the touch screen.. seemed great, although small. But my Droid 3 seemed like a monster next to that BB screen, not to mention the difference in speed, etc. I quickly put the Blackberry down and even felt a bit embarrassed, hoping nobody in there saw me with that thing in my hand.
I can't believe that BB is even still around. Whenever I look at one of those horrid disgusting things, I am reminded of those stupid watches with a built-in calculator I had when I was in 6th grade and thought I was cool. Stupid tiny screen and ugly buttons all over.
While I'm quite versed with a lot of the Droids, and I carry an iPhone for work, I don't know much about BlackBerries. Just seems to me that every time I've had any variety of Blackberry in my hands, or anytime I see someone using a BlackBerry, they might-as-well be holding some souped-up version of the early 90s Moto "Brick" phone. LOL
