I'm having a phone issue and am trying to mount some statistics to hit Verizon with. I have an odd request. Go to menu>settings>Battery and data manager>Tap the Battery and list the top three battery consumers on your phone. For example:

    Cell Standby - 45%
    Phone Idle - 36%
    Display - 10%.

Please post this up asap, if you don't mind.

    Thanks in advance,

What are you trying to mount them with? Give us details :)

    Here are mine:

    Cell standby: 37%
    Wi-Fi: 17%
    Display: 15%

After 2 to 3 hours of up-time, my battery will have dropped to around 50%, regardless of my usage. I have tried the following:

Not touched the phone after unplugging - same results
Used the phone constantly after unplugging - same results
Uninstalled all apps (that I have installed) - same results
Hard reset the phone (power and volume buttons) - same results
Placed the phone in Airplane mode for 3 hours - No battery drain at all

I am not using WiFi and only use Bluetooth when in the car. When I use Bluetooth, it pops to the top of the list with Phone Idle and Standby.

It appears to me that the radio is consuming too much power. I have 2 to 4 bars of 4G service most of the time.

I called Verizon and, of course, this is something that I have done. I am trying to get them to replace the phone.

Thats the issue in a nutshell.

I think you'd need a bit more detail regarding figures and how we arrived at them, but either way, after 20.5 hours, I have the following:

    Cell standby 37% (20.5 hours)
    Phone idle 35% (19 hours)
    Wifi 15% (On 8 hours)

Last I checked, I was down to 30%, but I'm also using apps which turn data/wifi off when not in use.

    Mine are:

    6h 16m 58s at 90%

    Cell Standby 23%
    Bluetooth 23%
    Wifi 23%

I have the extended battery with moderate to heavy use and I unplug the phone from the charger at 7 am and run it till 11 pm and still have 40% battery left at that time. If that helps at all.

There might be some backgroup apps that are causing the battery drain that imight not show up in battery history. I just started using Beautiful Widgets again and my battery life got a little worse. I still think it's on par with my old rooted Droid 1 considering that I'm on LTE all day. Here's my batt stats.

    2h 04m 35s - 80% battery life.

    Cell standby 41%
    Display- 26%
    Phone Idle- 22%
    Dolphin HD- 8%
    Android OS- 4%

I know yesterday, I was at 90% for more than 2.5 hrs yesterday with moderate use. So I can only attribute it to apps that I recently installed including Beautiful Widgets.

Motorola has already said that those battery usage percent numbers are inaccurate and will be addressed in an update. Motorola is also who you tell your phone problems to if you want your issues with the phone resolved, you talk to Verizon if you want a different phone.

Thanks. I had searched around for battery percentage issues and didn't find anything. I wasn't, in any form or fashion asking for help (as in a solution) here, I was wanting to see what other usage statistics looked like. Unfortunately for me, they look just like mine, which doesn't do much to help my case. I DID contact Verizon and as is normal they have told me that the battery drainage issue is my fault and gave me some suggestions to try an remedy it. None of which have worked.

I thought I was pretty clear as to what I was looking for, statistics. I didn't start the thread to get YOU to solve my problem or to get YOU to replace my phone. I was actually hoping to find some information to convince the VZW rep that my phone needs replacing.

I guess asking questions in the forum is now a bad idea?

For those of you who did post some statistics, thanks for the help. I was looking for statistics that looked like my OG Droid, but evidently this phone's battery stats don't look like that.
