Support Black wallpaper

    Is it possible to remove having a wallpaper so just have jet black screen? Have this on my lock screen and it looks fab

    Not sure but you could make a small black graphic file and set your wallpaper to that.

    If you dont have a black jpg file, why not try and zoom in on a black area of an existing jpg file?

    I use one that I found Googling "pitch black" there are a few images available.

    Hi, i use an app called no wallpaper, it's pure black.

    i had read that a purely black wallpaper wold help preserve battery power as the amoled screen is really only in use when producing colours other than black. I simply put phone under a cover and took a picture, then went to gallery, selected the picture and chose to use it as wallpaper, simples

    ... or just cover the lens completely, in a dark room just to be sure, and take a picture.

    Works for me.

    use plain black wallpaper would be the ideal solution - using an app just for black is a waste of power/resources/battery.

    when I select wallpaper then wallpaper gallary then one of the wallpapers I press the set wallpaper button and 7 seconds later it says;-
    Sorry
    Tha application TwWallpaperChooser(process com.secandroid.app.twwallpaperchooser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again [FORCE CLOSE]

    can I download this app again and were on my S2 will i find it to replace

    dont know if it will fix your issue but you can find the apk in the list above. Its under calenderchooser

    There is an app called Colors which lets you set any colour wallpaper. So you can use black as I did.

    You can download it free from the Market.

    Hope it helps.
