There is this little Thanks button on the right side. Maybe a second thanks?
I still see the "Rossi Edition" in your profile. It is unbecoming of one of Phandroid's resident experts to be rocking... old software :smokingsomb:
Not even on that version to be honest... changed a couple of times and haven't updated stuff!!
I'm off work today, hence being on here quite a bit... gonna be looking to change stuff and will make sure that I update the info in my profile!!
bwahaha even if i picked one phone,i change it too often to try and keep that info updated in my profile... i change things on my phones like i change my socks
my poor inspire hasnt been the subject of much flsahing lately, but i think im about to get my daily fix by flashing blackout ICS,since it has come highly recomended by ral :smokingsomb:
Yes, I am enslaved by Sense...
But please do... than I can bug you about getting my vdd settings set-up the way I like it
it does seem to run really well, havent played too much with it yet. but it looks just like my stock rezound theyve done an excellent job getting it running smooth and fast
24 hours on and Blackout ICS is performing well, with virtually no lag and over 17 hours of battery life after installing AnTuTu CPU Master Free as suggested and setting Scaling as 'smartassv2'.
All this with full brightness, 3g on all day, 25 mins of calls, 58 mins of screen on time, 16 hours of idle time, auto sync on all day, moderate internet use and over an hour of tune in radio playing. Now the battery is at 27% and I'm about to charge it.
Now that really IS quite impressive!!
I Install rom. When i connect my handset to the phone (HTC Desire HD). During the talking on the phone, i hear extrimaly loud scracth. It is imporsible to talk using handset!
But when i hear a music it is no any scratch.
Did you get this problem. Is it possible to fix this?
I try to connect other handset and problem is repeat.
that souns like a bug in the rom. prolly no way to fix it,other than to not talk on the bluetooth
im sure the developer will get it worked out, just keep watching his thread. you might also read thru the last few pages and see if anyone else mentions the same issue,so the dev knows to fix it
Sorry, I do not understand this part.
I'm sorry it was a typo: i mean "connect to my phone (HTC Desire HD)
No problem and thanks for the clarification. I should have figured it out on my own. Never tried a wired headset during phone calls. Unfortunately, I do not have Blackout 3.1.0 installed right now to do a test.
I can confirm that headset on call does not work with Blackout ICS 3.1... must be a ROM bug as scotty85 suggested.
I just plugged my original DHD headset to make a test call and there was a almighty loud scratch, so loud it hurt my ear. However I can happily listen to music all day long with the same headset plugged in.
Thanks xechehot and jp007_uk for identifying another issue. Will relay it to the Blackout Team.
Thank you very much, ral! I hope this problem will be solved quickly and easily.
did blackout update itself?
vaguely remember something saying android was updating last night.
and boot screen is no longer the same????
I don't think so. But I have software updates turned of.
What does the boot screen look like now?
black. with the word 'android'
software info says android version 4.0.4
have no idea what it was before??
BlackOut ICS ROM's are Android 4.04. Nothing in XDA about an update.
Hi, yes I found this out today, bit of a pain as I love having ICS on my dhd and this is the only problem I have come across.
Is there a fix for this?
Unfortunately, I do not know of any, and I follow the XDA thread on this ROM every day. As fixes are found I do post them in the original post on this thread.
I think we have to hunker down and wait for an update or try one of the other ICS Sense ROM's.
Will there be a fix for VOIP available in the future?
