    So basically, i have read alot of threads about this but none of them seem to answer what i want.

    My gf is getting ALOT of texts from an ex, and we were wondering if there was an app available that will block texts? I don't want an app that will just not alert you but still show texts in the messages. We want something that will totally stop texts getting to the phone at all.

    Thanks

    You should report him with your phone provider.

    Call Control does this. I think any blacklist app does it.

    In Handcent you can add a person to the blacklist. I haven't done this but i would assume it means it will block the texts from coming.

    I think GOSMS might be able to help you but I can't be 100% sure

    Its a good replacement to the stock sms app, Menu >> Settings >> Security Settings >> Black List >> Manage Black List >> Add

    not sure if this is the app your looking for, because i havent tried this feature, but under the heading Black List theres a tab that says;

    "Show blacklisted messages in Messages" and its automatically set to no

    So, although im not 100% sure, i think its a reasonable guess to say yea
