    Hello,

I have noticed some phones have a blue screen tint. In some it is very obvious, in others it is absolutely annoying. I am interested in the Samsung Galaxy SII. I checked one out at my local Sprint store, and found the screen to be pretty nice. But then I noticed the blue tint.

Why is there a blue tint to some screens? I do not like it. I found the screen better than the Motorola Photon though, which seemed cold, washed out, and I could see the refresh rate.

Can someone tell me why some screens appear blue?

All AMOLED displays are like that.

Its dependent on the AMOLED technology actually. The normal N8 AMOLED had a purple tint, ClearBLACK AMOLED has a slight beige tint, a Samsung AMOLED has a slight yellow tint, and superAMOLED has a slight bluish tint.

I DEMAND that they stop it, or at least provide rose color glasses so that I don't notice the tint.

    Please let the manufacturers know.

    Thanks.

They dont intend it. Its just a flaw in the screen creation process. They dont want it that way actually. They want it as clear as possible.

I wish there was a way to prevent it.
I don't mind because I'm used to it now but I like clear and white
