blue tooth fix

I have a blue tooth connection problem. The hero will pair with device i try i connect with but will not stay connected. Will rooting fix blue tooth problems?

Rooting itself will not.
Rooting and flashing a custom rom should.
Read read read and pic a rom that blue tooth works on.

I would go with an Android 2.2 and up ROM. That way you get voice dialing with your Bluetooth headset.

Of course, you only said Bluetooth device, so I am just assuming you meant a Bluetooth headset. MahaloCat is right though, a new ROM should do the trick.

Nice choice in tool, dude. I have a K1200RS. Anyway, these guys are right you will probably have to flash Android 2.2 or higher to get BT to work. I never could get my headset to pair with 2.1 on my phone, but once I flashed 2.2 it was fine. Good luck, and keep me posted on how that scan tool works, it is very interesting...

Sorry for the long wait. Rooted my phone and flashed CyanogenMod7 now the gs 911 pairs and stays connected with my hero.

Now im of to the new world (to me ) of custom roms
