Having trouble pairing the htc inspire with the toyota. How do you enter the code the toyota gives you into the phone. The book says that it should be automatic if you have the phone bluetooth on, but it is not.
    Thanks in advance.:)

Make sure your phone is visible to your car.

Go to Menu>Settings>Wireless & Networks>Bluetooth settings and make sure "Discoverable" is selected.

We followed all of your instuctions up to the discoverable. We could not get past the bluetooth symbol on the phone. How do you select that if it does not appear?

    Thanks in advance!

When you follow the steps above and get to wireless & networks scroll to bluetooth is the box next to that checked? If so you should be able to tap bluetooth settings right below that then next to discoverable check that box

In my FORD, to get it to connect to the SYNC, you have to get it the point where its giving you a pin # from the SYNC to pair to the cell phone....

then, on the phone, you put it in discovery mode (add a new device).

then I entered the pin # that sync gave to me into the phone, then it successfully pairs it.
