In february I bought a Hyundai iX20 full options.
My phone, a Samsung Wave 525 worked perfectly on the bluetooth carkit.

A few days ago I got myself a new phone, a Samsung Galaxy SII now I'm experiencing problems with my phonebook.

The bluetooth connection is working fine, I'm able to phone and receive calls on my carkit however, my phonebook is not available on the carkit.

I assume this is a compatibility problem between the software of my carkit and the android software of the Galaxy.

According to my cardealer Hyundai will be issueing an update somewhere in september but they were very vague concerning this problem.

I've two Simcards so I'm still able to use the "old" Samsung Wave in the car but I do hope to get a working solution for this problem hence this publication on this forum.

    :(:(:(:(

    Welcome to Android Forums, Louis!

There have been several issues with various Bluetooth car kits and newer phones. You are correct, there needs to be an update from the dealer, however I am not sure how forthcoming they will be with the updates. All I can suggest is to keep checking back with Hyundai.
