Bluetooth file transfer works with "paired but not connected" pairs between phones from 3D Gallery on one phone to the SD card on the other phone. But I can't seem to send anything else any other way. Has any Droid Eris owner gotten any of the bluetooth file manager programs to work between phones?

If so please tell me the step by step proceedure to effect a successful transfer?

Surely someone else has tried to send a file over bluetooth to another Droid.

bluetooth file transfer sucks on this phone. I have not yet been able to successfully send a file from my Eris to another droid phone (moto or htc).

I have been able to receive one from the moto droid though. Just couldn't send one back.

Ok, with the 3D Gallery program I proved the eris can send and receive a file. Has anyone found a bluetooth file beaming program that actually works with the Eris running 2.1 on other files types?

If not would someone actually make a program that work with our Eris?

    Anchor,

I have had the same problem with file transfer as well. I would be SO happy if there was a good file transfer program out there.

Is the file transfer problem on the phone end or the program's end?

Well since the 3D Gallery was successful the only logical conclusion is that the phone does do file transfer (because it does). It's the apps on the market that fail.
