    Hi all,

With my OG Incredible, I was able to use my bluetooth headset to make multiple voice commands, i.e. navigate to..., email, text, etc. However, with the DNA it appears I can only make phone calls. In addition, the voice dialer does not give me options for "work", "mobile", etc.

Is this par for the course on the DNA or am I doing it wrong? Thanks all!

If you don't have a reply by Monday morning I will give it a shot.

I'm seeing this too - not having the option to dial more than one number for a contact really limits the usefulness.

I should mention that the headset I am using is the LG HBS-700. I did some additional searching and there are two possibilities: 1) the headset is simply not compatible with GoogleNow, 2) this is a bug in 4.1.1 and has since been resolved in 4.2.

Since the issue I'm having is repeatable with other brands of bluetooth headsets, I'm given to believe that it's the latter possibility. In addition, I have successfully used GoogleNow's features on a stock iPhone wired headset.

I have a problem along the same line.
On my old HTC Thunderbolt I could touch the microphone icon and use the voice command to call someone in my contact list. It does not work on my new HTC DNA. This feature kept me from having wrecks while driving because all I had to do was punch one icon then speak “call so and so cell” and the call would be made.
How do I turn it on or get it to work?
  6. I am having an issue with Bluetooth also. I mostly use my Plantronics Discovery 975. I used it with my thunderbolt and loved it. When using it with my DNA everyone sounds muffled to me. I called myself on my landline to see if I too sound muffled and I do. I paired up a different older Motorola ear pics and it is the same way. Anyone know of a solution or have the same issue?

I have a Plantronics Voyager HD. It worked well on my last phone, staticy on the DNA. My company issued new Motorola Elite ear pieces. The elite is great and clear. I don't know about the other functions. The only time I think of setting that up I'm diving. I've only had the elite for a few days anyway.
  8. Can anyone please tell me how I can use voice commands with my Bluetooth on my new HTC Droid DNA? I can not get a clear answer. Do I need to download an app? Buy a special Bluetooth that is more compatible with the HTC DNA? So far no one has given me an answer HELP!

For those that are getting muffled sounds on the bluetooth, have you tried turning off beats audio when you make calls? I love Beats Audio, but I have noticed that it interferes with some things.
