I think any Bluetooth headset would work fine with the Sprint HTC Hero. I think ideally you would want to get one that uses a mini-USB port for charging so you could share the cords with your handset.

I use a relatively old Motorola Bluetooth headset that I have had for years and it works great. If you want a really high quality, not to mention expensive, ones I would look at Jawbone or BlueAnt Bluetooth headsets.
