Has anyone had success/or know that it can be done, pairing your Android phone/Incredible with the PS3?

I want to output my online radio/music from my Droid Incredible to my Playstation 3 so I can hear the music over my Bose rather than listening to the little internal speaker of the phone when at home.

I can pair the Incredible with my PC and output the audio from the Incredible to the PC.

Must it be Bluetooth? Can your phone and PS3 be on the same wi-fi network?

I only joined the forum 10 mins ago and was going to ask something similar, as my previous Sony C905 worked as a mediaserver with the PS3.

Try searching "mediaserver" or "twonky" in the marketplace. They'll let you use the phone as a DLNA server for all your photos and music (may be compatability issues with PS3 and video, I've deduced). Twonky gets my vote as it retains file structure, rather than dumping everything into one folder to search through.
