I've only had this phone for like two days (came from HTC510), but from what I've been gathering about LG (LAF) and the Boost bootloader being locked, has anyone tried killing LAF to get into fastboot (ie. dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 )? Granted I know we don't have a recovery.

Edit: I'm dumb. Found my answer.

The LAF partition re-writes on reboot. So zero-ing out mmcblk0p17 won't do anything but lock up the phone with an error on reboot until the battery gets pulled.

    Isn't it dd if=/dev/zero of/dev/block/mmcblkop17/by-name/laf

At least that's how it was for other LG devices

I just didn't have it by-name and chose to use the actual partition block. Also, zero'ing out LAF doesn't work. It's been tried by someone on the forum already (I just can't find the link to his comment).
