Why is Boost Mobile sending me this notice? This notice is to inform you about two new programs at Boost Mobile and your privacy choices. Mobile Advertising Program We are now offering you the opportunity to receive mobile advertising relevant to you when you use your mobile device to access applications or go online. If you opt in to this program, we may deliver ads that are likely to be of more interest and greater value to you. Boost Mobile will not share any information that identifies you personally.

If you would like to opt in to receive more relevant ads on your device, you can do so any time as described below.

Important note: Ads received on mobile devices are an everyday part of life. This program provides you the opportunity to receive ads and offers more tailored to your interests. Even if you choose not to opt in, you will still receive some general advertising depending on the applications you use. Further, providers of applications you access from your mobile device also may send you advertisements via your subscription.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED:

To make mobile ads you see more relevant.

You must opt in to take advantage of this
program by following the steps below under
"Your Choice."

*FOR EXAMPLE

A local business may want to make a special
offer available only to prople who live within 10 miles.
We might deliver that offer on a website you access
on your wireless device.

However,we would do so without sharing any information
with the advertiser that identifies you personally.

location information (such as the cell tower
serving your device), and Mobile Usage Information/





What information is included in the Mobile Advertising Program? Under our Mobile Advertising Program, we create anonymous (de-identified and aggregated) data sets that include:

Mobile Usage Information: • Categories of websites visited when using our wireless service (e.g., sports sites, music sites) • High-level location information (e.g., general location of cell tower serving your device) • Applications and features used on our network and information about network traffic (e.g., number of users using a particular category of applications, such as navigation applications)

Consumer Information: • Information about use of Boost Mobile products and services (such as data and calling use and features, device type, amount of use) • Demographic information provided to us by other companies (e.g., gender, age range)

Mobile Usage Information: If you would like to participate in our Mobile Advertising Program to receive ads and offers more relevant to you, you may opt in anytime by:

1.Logging into My Account on boostmobile.com and clicking on "Mobile Advertising and Reporting Preferences" at the bottom of the screen, or 2.Calling 1-855-257-7141 from your mobile device.

Please note that if you don’t elect to participate in our Mobile Advertising Program, you will continue to receive general mobile ads on your device.

Reporting & Analytics Program Beginning June 24, 2013, Boost Mobile will combine Mobile Usage Information and Consumer Information to prepare business and marketing reports that we may share with others. Information for these reports will be aggregated, and you will not be personally identified in any way. We may also share location information with other companies in a way that does not personally identify you to facilitate their production of aggregated reports.

If you do not want us to use your customer information for this program, you can opt out anytime as described below.

Your Choice: If you do not want Boost Mobile to use or share your information for the Reporting & Analytics Program described above, you may opt out anytime by:

I wanted to know what action,to take, to not have to respond.

Apparently it's their legally bound way to tell it's customer base of their intention to make money (being available to this new software), to specific target phone user's to ad's were going to get anyway.

When I understood the intent, first to cover their ass, second to make more ad money, (but not kick any back by way of rebate, or cost savings to customers), I decided to do not a thing to help them.
