    Tips & Extras

    • For the AOSP ROMs, you need to flash a gapps package or else you won't have Google PlayStore and a few other things in there. This isn't necessary if you're going to use your phone purely for phone calls, texting, taking pictures, etc. It should be noted that as of yet, gapps is very finicky with our ROMs. HOWEVER, I have found a package that does not cause extra issues and add on to the lists of known bugs. You can download it HERE.
    • Currently, none of our AOSP ROMs are totally perfect. There are bugs (Light sensor partially works, Camera and microphone mostly work but tend to stop functioning for a bit, proximity sensors do not work.) However, Team Osiris is very dedicated and is always working to improve the ROMs. If you can offer help, go for it, but I strongly discourage asking "when will such and such be fixed?" If there's something that you want fixed, you can help or donate and it may get fixed faster; but keep in mind, even though some peoples brains run on Linux, they're still human, and they still have lives. Moreover, this is all done for free, for the community.
