But what if the guys don't have the drivers correctly will it install for you as well... that's going beyond of laziness... I'm going to use until we get another cwm recovery...
you can only do so much with batch scripting lol but I was looking into a way to even go as far as to download the files for you
You must install drivers for your phone. You can get most of them off an installer package directly from your phone. And the other is http://www.mediafire.com/?p2bths885zt9yia and wont be installed until you reboot to the green android (bootloader). We cannot make a process that will install drivers for you. Sorry
After your phone goes into bootloader mode, allow windows update to update your android drivers. Then you should be good to go. Restarting your computer may also help.
ok i get to that part but devices will not install. when i go into details it tells me no drivers but i had them installed to get root access. what gives any ideas thanks. boy im lost
I guess someone is really going to have to make a video. I know english is a difficult language but WOW.
1st: reinstall the drivers you needed to root. 2nd: One Click CWM. 3rd: after your phone goes into bootloader, check if windows is trying to install drivers. If they fail, go to device manager and right click on android device. Make sure u let windows update it instead of manually. Also make sure your winows update is set to allow always or automatic update. Edit: When you right click on Android driver choose update driver and then choose search windows for update.
Yes, I know that's a good way to do it. When I had trouble installing the usb drivers I noticed that windows update did it for me. I'm just giving him another option that worked for me.
man..... i uninstalled samsung drivers reinstalled. now it says error devive not found. lmao wtf. do u have link for. tried usb drver zip. but nothing installs just brings up pages with files. man im lost
Yes wrong drivers. We have a ZTE so you need ZTE drivers. When you hook up your phone to the PC it will show a drive on your computer. On that virtual drive you will have an installation for the ZTE usb drivers. Install those. Then try again. In bootloader mode you will still have to install a seperate driver from the device manager on your PC. I posted a link to that driver a few post up.
A very big thank you goes out to Quietstorm, Snakex, and Woodstock77 for all their work on this. CWM installed awaiting some sweet custom ROMS.
