Root Boot Animation for CM7/Change

I have the CM7 build-05142011 on my cricket huawei ascend, i found out how to change the cyanogenmod7 sign but i don't know how to take that red background off where the droid sign use to be is, there anyone that can help me plz? thanks

its a new splash screen that was built into cm7 by isaac....

Wasnt a droid there in Cm7 it was just a repeat of the Huawei logo. That image is in the boot.img, so there is no easy way for you to change it out.

yes it can be change, i just have to remember the steps, but i think there is a post on ppa containing this info.

yes it can be done, but its not a easy process. You have to unpack the boot.img. Also its not a normal image file extension.

yep i just left mines the way it is, also i found a tut for the sound for cm7, bout to try it...

I'm changing mine, but I compile the builds myself, so I can change it out in the src

ok all that is so confusing to me i'm experienced but not that experienced, and i don't wanna ruin my phone, so i see that playfulgod and nuttmeg are pretty experienced why don't you you guys put a video on here so all the noobs like my self know to do all this cool stuff.
