Just a heads up, I'm currently building a new boot image. Haven't got it to install properly yet, but will post when I do. Any help or testers would be great. A wise man (Lordvincent), encouraged me to make a contribution... Hope this becomes a good start

In the next post you will find a sound file for the illuminated zip. Thanks goes out to the guys over at xda for the write up, and to Lordvincent for posting it here! All I did was copy and paste it here

Ok, my first contribution to the family of prevail users! I spent a few hours and tried many times, and finally Lordvincent helped me out! This image would not be possible without Lordvincent so please show thanks to him if you try this and like it! I made this image after watching a documentary of the Masons. It's just a simple boot image, but thanks goes to Lordvincent for... "illuminating" this install problem.

This is a small Tutorial on how to add sound in bootanimation of Cynogen mod......
.
I hav attached a zip file 1. Extract it u will find 2 files......bootsnd.sh and soundatboot.zip 2.copy d bootsnd.sh to sdcrd..... 3.go to Clockworldmod recovery.....mount system.....then flash the soundatboot.zip 4. reboot then...go to terminal emulater....write commands....

If I remember correctly, you can't use boot sounds with CM cause they aren't enabled in the ramdisk.

But boot animation changer (play store) has the option to add the binary and it works just fine... if you want to use an app to do it

This is where I got the info from that I pasted. I didn't flash anything though, I actually used my file manager and moved the mp3 to /system/media/ folder and pasted bootsound.sh to the root of the sd card

Yea, but did you then run the bootsound.sh file? (You need to use terminal emulator) it will run some commands and edit a couple of files

Lol my bad, I did flash it! Forgot about it not working when I just moved files... Thanks for catching that Lordvincent
