I ran a fix permissions with rom manager today, and I rebooted my phone. Now, it is stuck in a boot loop, and I can't find any way to access recovery.

I have a sick feeling in my stomach that my phone is done for good.

    Someone please help.

Edit: after some more looking around, the only thing I can think of that may be the problem is that I set my oc to set at boot because it seemed very stable. I don't know why that would screw with my recovery, so this must be a separate issue.

Do you have fastboot? How did you root the phone?

Ok you will need the android sdk, if you dont have it you can download the froyolitewin.zip or something like that from the 2.2.1 froyo for root guide and just do that and you will be set. Its gonna wipe every. You can manually flash the recovery with fastboot. I suggest you trash rom manager and clockwork. Switch to amonra recocveyr

Well, that definitely did the trick. I had to try a few times to catch it at the right spot in the boot loop but it did the trick. My question is did this flash clockwork recovery, amonra, or something else entirely?

Amonra recovery. Do away with rom manager and clockwork.

Will do. I have had problems in the past with clockwork, I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson then.
