SO i have read through a lot of the threads on this but i haven't seen a clear walkthrough for it. I wanna to change the boot up sound to the droid sound and the animation to the droid pissing on the apple. I have all the files needed and when i replaced the old ones i either got file cannot be played or the animation didn't work. My phone is rooted and ready.

Any thoughts on how to get this working will be much appreciated.

What blaxican said but also there's an app called root tools that I used to change the boot stuff (including the Andy pissing on the apple. And its all just one click away. U can change other things as well.

On cm7 it has what is called absolute system. You can edit boot animation font etc. Haven't tried the boot animation yet. But did figure out the boot sound.
You wont do boot sound through absolute system though

I install the root tool app tru 4zhare directly to the phone sdcard by activation unknown sources on application settings and then installed it; however, i'm trying to change the animation from default to the android pissing on the apple and when click on in it starts but then stop and says "Unable to remount file system read/write."

What can I do fix this?
