I have a question. If there is no Bootloader unlock how can we flash a new ROM? I know with other phones if your bootloader is locked you can not flash a ROM.

I am asking because I think I found the issue I was having making a CM ROM.

The boot loader is unlock or we wouldn't be able to flash kernels or recovery. There is only system write protection on the system partition. Don't listen to these fools!

Oh, ok. It didn't make any sense. Because typically when the bootloader is locked you can not flash a ROM. And everyone here has been throwing locked bootloader all over the place.

You can flash stock roms and have a bootstrap recovery , but most people around here have no clue what they are talking about.
