Brand new to Nexus 7 and Tablet

Hello everyone. I'm brand new to Nexus 7 and Tablet. I'm waiting for my Nexus 7 to arrive (hopefully by the end of this week) and I've ordered a book "Nexus 7 for Dummies." Although I manage quite well with my present Toshiba laptop I am definitely not good with technology. Anything unfamiliar usually stumps me for a while.

I'm 65, live in Scotland and I'm happy to be retired.

I'm looking forward to being part of this forum.
