Hi! I'm new to this forum so first I'll shout a "Hey" to everyone and thanks in advance for any advice! So, I jumped from an iPhone 3GS to a Nexus One with AT&T. Basically, me and my friend..we swapped our phones. He'd modified the Nexus One and I'd jailbroken my iPhone. I read online how to do a Full Wipe to start from a Clean Slate: Turn the power off. If your Nexus One is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it Hold the Volume Down button Press and release the Power button You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button Press and release the Power button Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the device. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to factory fresh state. Having done that, my phone was stuck on the boot screen with the Nexus One X --> http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2009/350/c/d/Nexus_One_by_naymlezwun.png ^^^ kinda like that Left it for 20-30 mins...nothing. It doesn't go away from the boot screen. Did a soft reset (holding Power, volume down and trackball together)..and nothing (back to boot screen). After an hour I took out the battery, put it back in...nothing. removed SD card, took out batt for 20 mins, put it back in ... nothing. Have I bricked my phone? All I was doing was a Full Wipe. I was soo looking fwd to jumping on the Android platform and modding my device.
