Root Bricked rooted Moment. Need help please.

I bricked it. Now when I run the update program to get back to the stock program it doesn't run and the progress bar stays at 0%. Help!!!

Are you able to get the phone into download mode (vol dn, power and end)?

I reflashed my phone and now it works but;.......it is now running 1.5 not 2.1 like before. I'm puzzled!!!! What did I do to downgrade?

I'm guessing you flashed an older rom, no? Download a fresh copy of the the updater to be sure. If you want to root, after installing the updater go to C:\Program Files\Samsung Electronics\SWUpgrade\Models\Binary and replace the .md5 file with this . If you get a file not recognized error when you try to run the updater, run the patch and try again (sometimes you need the patch, sometimes not). After installing the initial rooted rom, you should be able to install any .zip format kernels or roms via recovery. have fun!
