    Two questions:

    (a) Did you make SURE that the firmware you installed was specifically for your tablet?
    (b) Did you verify the download was good by checking the md5 checksum?

Either your download was corrupted, or you installed firmware designed for another tablet or variation of the Galaxy Tab 2. Firmware is EXTREMELY model specific. At this point, you may try to get the stock firmware and Odin back to stock... IF you can get the tablet into Download mode and your PC can see it. Good luck.

Download Odin 3.10 to the PC and find the specific stock firmware for your model. Once you have that, there are plenty of tutorials on using Odin to connect your device to the PC and push the firmware over.
