Bring your own phone: was it Republic Wireless or another carrier?

    I remember reading or hearing that a small wireless company was able to take on Sprint phones.. like Samsung S3.

    I thought it was Republic Wireless.
    does anyone know?

    Republic Wireless doesn't allow BYOD yet. MetroPCS uses T-Mobile, I don't believe they can take Sprint phones.

    Are you thinking of Ting? They can take many Sprint phones.

    With Ting you can BYOD the Galaxy S3, Nexus S, Note 2, and many more.

    MetroPCS.. I think is a GSM network.. so can not take Sprint CDMA phones.

    Yeah.. I think this is the phone.. thanks for the point in the right direction.

    I have heard that Republic Wireless will allow BYOD in the next 60 days. It appears they are very motivated to do so.
