Hi, I'm still a newbie to Android so I'm a little confused as to what's happened to my phone.

I noticed that the Google translate app had stopped working so I typed 'translate' into the Android browser and clicked on the Google Translate link.

But rather than going to the Google site the browser gets redirected to Bango.net  - this site looks dodgy because it asks for payments etc.

This only happens when connected via mobile wap. This never happens via wi-fi. So my wap settings must be wrong? I've deleted and re-entered the APN but the problem still continues.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    M.

OK, this is odd, but I've found the answer - it's O2's new system!

    O2 Age restricted browsing confusion

Rang O2 and they said everyone needs to confirm their age - even for Google translate!
