After a few minutes browsing I always seem to be getting MB's of data associated with the browser. This seems to directly affect my available memory for apps storage.

I've just checked again after clearing data (which is a pain with passwords, bookmarks etc ) and I have over 20MB.

I keep getting a low memory warning, what's going on?

At the request of users, the 2.2 browser does some aggressive caching which can lead to this. You don't need to clear data though, just the cache. I've seen mine eat up over 40Mb before.

I'd like to unrequest it, I'm sick of seeing that low memory notification!

Why would us users request this?

It doesn't happen when I use the xscope browser (presumably because I have it set to "clear cache on exit"), but I've had the same low memory message using the stock browser.

haha very strange and now there are people complaining about it. We are never ever satisfied are we? lol

OT: notice that your avi is finally showing. I'm guessing ROB fixed the server bug for that...cause I can't imagine you fixing it back months later :p
