Browser with address bar at the bottom?

I have been looking recently for a browser that allows me to move the address bar to the bottom of the screen so I wouldn't have to reposition my hand to type in a page/search and was quite surprised to see that none offer the option. Is there a reason for this that I just can't figure out? Or am I blind and just not seeing the options?

Feedback?

My guess is that the layout is designed to mimic desktop browsers, whose address bars are also at the top. You have a clever idea though. If you can't code it yourself, you should email some devs to see if it can be implemented in another browser.

I've been thinking about learning how to code since I got this phone but simply can't find the time. I would love to play around with layouts and the sort.

I will browse around the forums more to get myself acquainted then see if I can find a dev willing to take on the project or to at least point me in a direction that can accomplish this goal.

Or even get ahold of the ones that already have a browser out, like Dolphin, Opera, Firefox, or Chrome. You're only out the time it takes to copy and paste, once it's written.

Thanks for the idea.

I sent a "bug report" through chrome as thats the browser i would prefer to use as well as posting on a google forum I found in the Chrome section. We will see where that goes.

While waiting for a response (though I don't really expect a reply from google themselves) I will try to contact devs of the other browsers to see if that will get me anywhere.

I will post here if there is any news.
