Browsers & Fit to Page??

I'm not liking my browsing experience in the N5, i've tried Chrome, Boat & Dolphin Browsers

I think when you double tap the screen, the screen goes a wee bit larger, but hardly enough

on my one S, when i double tapped the screen on the forum i mainly use, the text went big enough to read and the page fitted the screen, it doesn't seem to do this on the N5

any ideas about this?

I will have to try this out on my wife's phone. She mentioned something about this yesterday. You might try Reader mode on Firefox. I don't know why Google hasn't implemented this in Chrome yet as it's really useful on Safari and Firefox.

I'm going to have to install Firefox on my wife's N5.

Installed Firefox, went to a news article, pressed the reader button and it worked like a charm. Piece of cake. It's even better than the Safari version on the iPhone. I generally use Firefox a lot more on my Nexus 7.

Hmm, just installed FF on my Nexus 5, it's still the same for me, double tap the screen and it does enlarge the screen/text but it's still painfully small

even when you zoom in the text doesn't want to fit the page, you need to scroll to the right to read it all.

There's a little picture of a book in the URL bar on the right. Tap that to get reader mode. Tap it again to turn it off.
