Bugless Beast Really A Beast??

Ooook, so I did the one-touch root, got Rom Manager, and I'm downloading Bugless Beast as my first ROM. HOLY COW its taking forever. Literally been going now for 5 minutes and its at about 6%. Is this normal?? Just how big of a file am I trying to download??

Would it be faster/easier to download it on the PC and put it on the SD card?

you are downloading the whole rom.. I have been very happy with it though

At this rate it will take several hours to complete the download.... =(

Try cancelling it and downloading again. Sometime Rom Manager does that, at least for me anyway. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes

or try over WiFi.. but yeah it should not take THAT long

All told it should take no longer than 10 min over 3G - but the servers are probably getting hammered for data right now so expect a slowdown.

WiFi is definitely the way to go for this type of stuff.

Do you cancel the download just by clearing it from the notification pane? I have never had to cancel a download before...

How did the process or rooting go for you?

I would bet servers are jammed because of all this froyo, rooting hype.... WiFi would be ideal probably.

Rooting was easy, took seconds. I was expecting it to flash through some screens and whatnot, but it literally just went *bloop* and I was rooted.

Was having issues downloading Bugless Beast over 3G but now on WiFi its going much much faster. Still not blazing fast but it wont take the two or three hours it wouldve over 3G.
