I love the phone, it's awesome, but the battery life isn't spectacular. That's ok, I can live with that, but I am buying an extra battery. My question is this: if I buy this one Replacement Battery - Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 is it going to damage my phone in any way? Am I better off dropping the extra

I bloomin' well hope not - I've been using the exact same one for almost two weeks! :)

I've used one of theirs in my DZ for over six months without noticing any difference to the official HTC battery, and the GS2 part appears to be of comparable quality and performance.

I'm waiting to see what battery comes in the generation 2 SII in september<>christmas, should be the same size but better since 1.4Ghz, I can't see them paying for tooling just to make the phone's frame slightly bigger.

But there is a chance it may be overpowered and hurt our SIIs, time will tell.
