buying esteem from someone can i switch my service to her esteem

so i just talked to my friend she said that i could buy her esteem for $200.. so am going to buy it can i bring the esteem to metro to switch the service to the esteem even though it was already in service just asking cause i reallying dont buy second hand phone she got it 2 months ago anyways so it pretty new

Switch your plan (if you have too) and add the phone online. Then call *228 from a different phone. You have to access the programing menu and add your phone number, MIN number and SID number. The person on *228 will give you your MIN and SID and walk you thru it. Real simple tho

Setup an account online.. I switched from optimus M to my esteem online.. free of charge.. very simple.
