Just got my phone and uploaded all my calendar info from my old Palm Treo to Droid (via CompanionLink). Everything worked fine and I've now got a full calendar that's accessible via the HTC calendar widget on my phone.

Ideally, I'd like to backup this "full" calendar to something like Google Calendar (just in case my Droid crashes or something). I thought my phone would automagically sync the calendar w/ Google, but it doesn't. Thought I could force it to sync by going to Settings > Accounts & Sync > Google .....however, my calendar isn't listed there as a syncing option (I only see "Sync Contacts" and "Sync Gmail").

Any thoughts? Did I screw up the auto-sync setup by importing all my Palm data via CompanionLink?

    Thanks.

Do you have your calendar set up in Google? Set up the calendar under the same gmail address you have on your phone and then you should be able to find it in your settings.

    Here's what I did:
-logged into gmail (with same address as phone)
    -clicked on Calendar link
-setup a new calendar with the same name as the calendar on my phone

Should that be enough to make "Calendar" show up in the sync settings of my phone?
