    Hi,

The built-in calendar (Samsung's?) is syncing some MS Exchange calendar meetings, but not others. I haven't been able to find a pattern as to which it's not syncing.

I'm running Android 6.0.1 on Galaxy s7 Edge.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your help.

I have the same exact problem since I upgraded to 6.0.1 two days ago. It's driving me nuts. I can't find a pattern either, it syncs some and not others.

After deleting and re-adding the account, it seems to be working. For now anyway... fingers crossed.

For anyone else having this issue...

Turns out the root of the problem is that when registering the email address on the phone, you have to use the default email address used on the Exchange server (versus alias accounts) including the correct case! For example, John.Doe@company.com instead of john.doe@company.com.

Problem is that on multiple devices, once you set up the account, you cannot change the email address without removing and re-adding, which explains why that seems to fix it for people who remove and re-add.

same problem, but a bit more complicated. this is on a Note 7. i have 4 exchange accounts, e-mail & contacts sync, but some calendar items do not. I use 9folders for my e-mail, and it syncs everything, including the calendar. the built in galaxy calendar wont sync all events. can you be more specific on what accounts need to be deleted, and then re-input, and where to do this?

The solution isn't as much about deleting accounts as it is using the correct syntax for the account you add.

As posted above, the account you set up on the Android has to be the exact same spelling and case as the default email account in Exchange (which you'll likely need to confirm with your Exchange administrator).

Deleting the account on the device is just a means to the end - i.e. deleting the account, so you can add it back with the correct spelling and case.

Find out which account is not syncing - and then, remove and re-add that account.

it is my main exchange account. the problem/confusion, is in settings/accounts, there does not seem to be any exchange accounts, except those thru 9folders. the new note 7 system is more confusing. see my last post for screen shot.
