I currently have a BB Tour, which I sync to my Outlook calendar via a data cable. The problem with Blackberrys is that if you make a certain changes to a calendar event, the BB will automatically send an email notificiation to all the attendees of the event. I have had this happen when syncing the BB calendar with 3rd party calendar applications, and most recently with Google Sync when I tried to delete all my calendar events and start over fresh--the BB thought I was canceling the events and sent out "Event Canceled" emails for every appointment (200+, including clients, including those I wasn't the organizer for). Because of this, I'm looking to switch to an HTC Hero (Sprint). I have heard though that Android may have the same problems, and I wanted to check before I made the switch. My wife has a Hero, and as far as I can tell it wouldn't be a problem, since it doesn't look like the Hero's calendar even pulls attendee information from Google Calendar. But given the number of times I've sent my entire calendar to my co-workers and clients, I want to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks.
