I went into battery usage>>partial wake and found that Netcounter and Calendar were using virtually all of the battery between them. I've uninstalled Netcounter.

However, I am curious as to why Calendar is using so much battery power? Is there a way I can reduce this?

No, no task killer. It is specifically the Calendar app that was draining my battery, along with Netcounter in the 'Partial Wake' state of the phone.

The reason I asked is that when I had ATK running on mine (long since gone) it kept the Google Maps application running at 100% (don't ask me how or why) which emptied the battery pretty quickly.

The only other time I've had an app running high partial-wake was when the Facebook app had its problems (version 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 AFAIR).

From the dialer *#*#4636#*#* (or download Spare Parts)

    Then look in Battery History
