Help Calender No sync option

I just jumped into an evo today. I went into the sprint store so i could make it live. When I go to settings> Accounts & Sync> Add account> i sign in with my google logn-in information, The only options that i have are Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail. I do not have a Sync Calendar. I removed my account and re added it. I don't have an outlook calendar or anything speical. The option will not show up the guys at the sprint store had no idea?

Try menu.settings.accounts and sync.google.remove account

Then the same but add account and select google.

If.that doesn't work hard reset /factory reset

And if that doesn't work take it to a corp repair store
