i thought it was EPUB, but when i try to open the book in Astro, it says that EPUB is not a supported format

I've been working on the same thing recently. However, I have been trying to get them to work with Wordplayer... Eventually I found a better way to do them...

Convert your books into EPUB format, then use a program called Text2Go to covert them to MP3 format (there's a 30 day trial). MAKE SURE you download and use the 300mb upgraded voice (there's a dropdown that you must select that voice from, as opposed to the default, each time you use the program)!

I'm using the 'IVONA Amy' voice and it sounds FANTASTIC!

actually, I solved my own problem

you gotta take the converted .epub file and put it on the import folder

THEN you go and perform a manual import to the bookshelf :D
