Call recording - can't playback?

I'm on an ICS build on my Razr Maxx.

I tried several different in call recorders - and just audio recorders and none of them want to play back the files?
I have tried wav and 3gp.

Any suggestions, or maybe it's finicky and I need to know how.

My girlfriend has been getting harassed and we need to record some calls, so it's pretty important.

You might want to try this, it's the most reliable call recording I have tried. and I've tried a LOT.
