    How do I edit the name that is displayed when my caller ID shows up at the call destination?

    Call your carrier and ask them if they'll reset it for you.

    Hello hombredeldia. I'm not certain you can accomplish that. If the phone you are calling has your number as John Doe.. that's what is going to be displayed when your number accesses that phone. For the best info you will want to check into the area where your phone is supported. Not knowing which phone you have I can't leave you a direct link.
    Here is a list of phones and their areas.. just open the list and then give your phone name a click. Have fun....

    That's the right answer. Called provider and got it done. Couldn't find a way in the android menus. Thank you very much.
