Help Calling out freezes

When trying to make a call out the screen quickly goes white then reverts to previous screen. This only started a few days ago after a software update to 4.1.2. So far I have, rebooted, taken out battery and sim card and rebooted. Tried clearing cache...all to no avail. Any advice out there? Please!

I hate to say this, but if the issue persist, you might have to do a Factory Reset. Sometimes after doing an update if issues start arising usually a FR is the solution.
