Root Camcorder - No Audio

Audio is not working in the camcorder app. Nothing is recorded. When I playback I hear the speaker pop when it turns on, but no audio.
Voice recorder clips play back. It seems it is just the camcorder audio that isn't recording. This didn't work on earlier build 20120125 either.

Or use a file explorer, navigate to /system/media/audio/ui/ then delete camera_click.ogg

First thing I do in every build. Because it's illegal in some places to mute the shutter he could not remove it which is why there is a disclaimer when you mute it.

I don't use camera often, but when I used it before I don't remember changing settings and it worked. Is this some new bug or what? I know the shutter sound didn't work in some earlier iho ROMs.
