Hello. I have a samsung A71.
The camera shuts down automatically after 2 minutes of none use.
Is there a way to extend that or stop it altogether.
I like to take pictures of wildlife in the garden with a remote button. I would like to set the camera up and leave it in a location and shot photos from a distance but the shut down timer on the camera is ruining this. Can anyone help with solving this problem. I cant find any settings to change this.
Many thanks.

This apparently isn't so much a Camera app issue as it is a phone Settings thing. You'll need to disable the sleep function in the Display menu. You can try using the Settings >> Display menu in your A71:
https://www.samsung.com/nz/support/...-without-changing-the-screen-timeout-setting/
or there are various third-party apps you can install from the Play Store, a couple of examples being:
No Screen Off
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.k2.no.screen.off&hl=en_US&gl=US
Caffeine
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=moe.zhs.caffeine&hl=en_US

The display is a significant power usage part in any smartphone so this is going to tap the battery quite a bit. That's why having the display go to sleep sooner rather than later is part of the general power management. You might also want to invest in a portable, external battery.
