I came to Android from an iPhone 4. So far the Samsung S4 is pretty good with one glaring exception. I can not 'spot meter'. I can select it, and I'm sure that there's a spot in the centre that it's metering. But I can not see the dot. I can touch the screen to adjust focus to a specific spot but the metering stays at a spot in the centre.
I have even purchased a couple Android camera apps only to be informed that selective metering is not supported on my devise.
This has spoiled my experience with the S4. I've wasted time, effort and money only to find out that my hardware doesn't support a basic camera function.
