Camera picture photo format

    Hi i can't find how to change my camera default format from .jpg to .png

    I want to take photos in .png not in .jpg

    That is totally dependent on the camera app on your device.
    Do a camera search in the play store and install one that works for you

    my note 10+ does not make photos in png. it only takes it in jpg. you'll need another app that supports png.

    there are apps that convert jpg to png. and i believe there are camera apps that will take png photos as well.

    I've personally not met a stock camera app that has png as an option. Actually the alternative camera apps I've used haven't had that option either, but of course that doesn't mean that there aren't others out there that do.

    Though to be honest it seems a slightly unusual request as I've never met a dedicated camera that stores images in that format: jpg, various raw formats and sometimes tiff, but never png.

    I assume that the motivation is quality, and so you don't want to just convert jpg to png (which many apps on all platforms can do).
