    Hi everyone,
I'm a new android smartphone user, I just got my galaxy note 3 days ago and everything was going fine with the camera: absolute clear and super nice photos as a result until today, when I used its camera again, the photo quality was so bad: blurred. I always use the auto focus. When the problem occurred, I try using the macro focus and found that except for the center of the photo, the surrounding area was totally a blur. I wonder if it is because of the instagram photo program I just installed today? I uninstalled it already but the problem is still the same :(
What can i do for this ? Please help me...I am so suffering here
    Thanks thanks thanks a lot.

Have you tried clearing the data in the camera app? That may reset it.

This may sound obvious but have you checked the camera lens? It might be dirty.

I also cleaned that several times, but it's not the problem, I suppose.

Can you post an example picture? Apart from the camera unit being faulty I can't think of any other reason for it.

[IMG]Whatever I used auto focus or macro focus, this is the result. The right area in the photo was a little bit clearer than the left.

Did u touch the lock focus( rectangular box at screen), before u press the camera icon. and also once focus is locked, u must hold your camera pretty still when taking the shot. If not u will get blurr pic.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I did all the things u said. Before this problem happened, I already had taken many superb clear photos with this phone. It just suddenly get blurry one day.

    ISO Speed = 32
    F Number = F2.65

I don;t see how this is possible your EXIF shows an ISO and F-Stop far below what the device is capable of. Looks to me like something software related is causing the camera to do the impossible.

This is my area - I run three photography websites. The focus is not symmetrical, so it looks like there is an optical misalignment. I would think that the focus mechanism has jammed causing the lens to be misaligned, or vice-versa. This might have happened because of a manufacturing fault or if the camera suffered a knock, perhaps while focusing. Anyway - it's a hardware fault, so your should return the unit under warranty. As you have only had it a very short time you should hopefully get a brand new replacement swap-out.
