    Hi,

Does anyone know why the Motorola Moto G5 Plus stock camera app is producing much better pictures in low light than other apps from google play store? I tried 5 different camera apps and they produce similar quality pictures in good light. However, in the low light, the Motorola stock app takes much better pictures than these apps.

    Thanks for help

Probably because it's the stock camera app that Motorola approved which is optimized for the phone...
3rd party camera apps are a dime a dozen, and are hit or miss.
For shits & giggles, try "A Better Camera" from the play store and see if you're results look any better

Don't know about the app, other than yeah since it comes from Moto it's likely optimized for the camera set up where as third party apps you can download from the Play Store are more general and try to cover everything as they can be downloaded by anyone with any kind of phone. I do know also that the camera in the G5 Plus (and possibly also the G5) is the same camera setup from the Samsung Galaxy 7. It doesn't have image stabilization, but the setup is the same otherwise...
